Canyon Lake Ski Club

Dear Collegiate Skier,

Id like to introduce myself,
my name is Jay Fitzpatrick and I am President of the Canyon Lake Ski Club in
Canyon Lake California.  On behalf of our Club Im writing to extend an
invitation to help get more college-level skiers involved in our sport.

As a Ski Club we are very much
interested in promoting and encouraging the involvement of new skiers into our
sport.  (And that includes Trick and Jump as

well as Slalom.)

The CLSC typically hosts at
least 5 sanctioned tournaments every year starting in May and concluding with
our Bob Barton 3-Round Slalom Tournament in October.  In addition to the
sanctioned events we hold monthly Club tournaments in the off-season.  These
Club tournaments are typically held the first Sunday of the month and consist of
1 round of Slalom and 1 round of Trick.  This year we will be adding Jump to at
least some of our Club events.

Were also working very hard
to qualify new Officials and are hosting Judging, Scoring, and Driving Clinics
in conjunction with our first Club tournament the first weekend in November.  In
addition we are also conducting a Safety Clinic on October 16th if
that is of any interest.

If any of your skiers would
like to come and ski wed love to have them!  If any are interested in coming
just to observe and learn wed love to have them as well, and that would include
having them ride in the boat or sitting with an event judge in a tower.  We are
also offering to work with any novice Jumpers who think they might be interested
in going over the ramp.  (For those experienced Jumpers wed love to watch em
fly!)

In short if any of your skiers
want to get more involved wed like to help them!
