Meeting and Election of 2004 Officers

SACTO represents the Northern California council area.  At its annual
October meeting, SACTO coordinated the council area’s 2004 tournament schedule
of 39 tournaments hosted by 14 clubs.   SACTO also reviewed and
approved plans for Junior Development and Officials Clinics for 2004. The
group heavily discussed more competitive, performance based tournament
formats, growing the sport, integrating collegiate skiers, and voted to fund
SACTO programs through fees rather than hold a 2004 SACTO Open tournament.

Doug Trimble was elected president starting January 1.  Elaine Bush is
the new secretary.  Leann Munro remains the treasurer, Carol Boice was
appointed to return as Officials Clinic Coordinator, and Rick and Anita Caulk
were appointed to continue to coordinate Junior Development.
