Carl Pugh, Chief TC and Cheyenne Lake Homeowner, has been ready for weeks.
Jump is underway right on time at 7am.
John Reid and Dick Mecham at the controls of the triple redundant
setup. At this point, the jump event is nearly running itself.
Don Strategier (the guy that trained ALL of us technical controllers) and his
wife Judy moved their restaurant called BLT’s to the site for the week.
Located in Big Bear, CA, BLT’s is a crowd favorite.
Like an expectant father, Coloradoan Bill Holbert paces the dock while
waiting for his wife to take her run.
Here is Stacy Holbert at the 5 ball at 28 off. Stacy skis at Laku in
Colorado, the site of next year’s regionals.
